Nikon’s New 800mm Monster Gets Official

This week at the Japanese CP+ show Nikon made their new 800mm lens official and set a whopping $17,899 price tag !  The 800mm has been a lens missing from the Nikon arsenal but one that has been popular with Canon shooters, predominantly wildlife professionals. Fuji Launches The X100s

Adobe NOT Offering Creative Suite 2 (CS2) for free

David McLain & Jerome Thelia On The Calling and Sony’s A99

Whilst attending PhotoPlus Expo recently I had the chance to sit down with National Geographic photographer David McLain and his business partner Jerome Thelia to talk about their recent short The Calling which was shot entirely with Sony’s new full frame DSLR, the A99. Two New Canon Lenses Leaked! 35mm f2 & 24-70 f4 IS

Well here’s a turn up for the books.  Two Canon lenses leaked onto the net today via Digicame-info.  A 35mm f2.0 and a 24-70 f4 L IS.  The 35mm will be an interesting lens, much smaller than the f1.4 L bigger brother and if it follows the same optical quality of recent 24mm and 28mm lenses it should be very nice.
