Affiliate Disclosure

Hi. Dan here.

Transparency on the web is important. Dan Carr Photography takes part in several affiliate referral programs, and as such, many of the outbound links on this website are affiliate links, and sometimes photos and other material too, such as banner ads. We may receive a small commission if you click one of those links and go on to purchase a product or service, but the price is the same for you. I am very picky about the products and services that get promoted on this site through these affiliate programs, and I only promote those that I have investigated and deemed valuable to our readers.

As an Amazon Associate Dan Carr Photography earns from qualifying purchases.

Other examples of affiliate programs that we take part are: B&H Photo, Adorama, Peak Design, Think Tank Photo, MindShift Gear, Skylum Software, On1 Software, Photologo, Impact Radius, Topaz Labs, Flex Offers, Elegant Themes, Bluehost. This list should be taken as a sampling, and not a definitive list.

If you have any concerns about clicking affiliate links, it’s safest to simply assume that all links to products or services are affiliate links.

Why Do We Use Affiliate Links?

Running a popular website costs thousands of dollars a month just for the services to keep it online, let alone for anyone’s time to actually create content. Affiliate programs do not cost our readers any money but the small commissions, usually just a few per cent, add up and help us keep the lights on. In fact, in some cases, the affiliate links actually save our readers money as we have negotiated discounts if they are used.

My best,

Dan Carr
