Ok this might just be the craziest deal I have ever seen from B&H Photo.  The Canon EOS-M with the 22mm pancake lens is $299.  That’s 50% off! Now I personally own one of these cameras and I can tell you that this is real steal.  It produces wonderful images with its APS-C sensor and the AF has been upgraded last week with magic new firmware to make it so much faster.  I’m glad to be able to show you guys this deal, but I wish it had cost me that little when I purchased mine!!

Here’s an interesting little setup which Many people haven’t considered.  I’ve been shooting a lot with the little EOS-M , Canon’s mirrorless camera and it came packaged with the little Canon 90EX flash.  It’s powered by just two AAA batteries and that means that it is decidedly pocket sized !  Whilst it’s marketed as a flash for the EOS-M , it works just fine with any Canon camera that has a hot shoe.  If you use a 5D , a camera with no built-in flash, then it can also be a handy accessory for general shooting and at $150 it

Canon EOS-M Begins Shipping In N.America Today

Canon’s first ever mirrorless CSC will begin shipping from major N.American stores today, October 15th.  The APS-C sensored camera is the fist such camera from Canon who now joins Sony, Panasonic, Olympus and Nikon in offering near-pocketsized interchangeable lens cameras.

Canon Makes Mirrorless Official – EOS M

Canon’s ship is typically a leaky one so we’ve had full specs and photos of this camera for a few days now.  Today though Canon officially launched their EOS-M mirrorless camera platform. Canon are last to the mirrorless market amongst the big players and on paper they have come out with an impressive package.  Most noticeably, the camera is TINY.  It is actually smaller than the Panasonic GF5 Mirco Fourthirds camera but critically it packs a full APS-C sized sensor and not a smaller M 4/3 one.  An 18MP APS-C sensor no less. Canon’s Mirrorless Camera Leaked – EOS M

Canon are finally making the jump into the mirrorless market and the first images of the first camera, expected to be officially launched on Sunday night, have leaked onto the internet via DigicameInfo and Canon Rumors.  Details are relatively thin on the ground at the moment but what is clear is that this camera has a pretty big sensor (probably APS-C) and the camera itself  is TINY.  We’re talking the size of a G1 X here.  It will also ship with a 22mm f2.0 lens which would be close to a 35mm equivalent if the sensor is indeed APS-C.  What
