I’m a big fan of the original Canon 300mm f2.8 L IS, it has served me well from covers to ads I’ve packed this thing around the world with me shooting up mountains and around race tracks with frankly stunning results. Apparently a camera labelled as Canon EOS 3D briefly surfaced on the B&H website earlier today (via Petapixel). It’s unclear at the moment if this is real or not, the camera no longer appears in the search and the manufacturer # listed on the search result is one that was previously used for a Canon ELPH point and shoot camera. I can’t think why they would re-use a number but it could have been a place holder.
