    You may find the auto-align images feature (Edit->Auto-align Layers) in CS3 and later useful, rather than keeping a bit of “context” in your image and manually aligning them. It works *amazingly* well!

    Hugo,

    Yes in some cases that does work but I find that in certain circumstances, especially when there is a snowy background that either contains very little contrast, or too many similar contrasting areas (snowy textures) it gets tripped up quite easily.
    I guess that problem is probably limited to shooting skiing and snowboarding so for people shooting other sports that’s a suggestion worth trying.

    Your technique is pretty time consuming but MUCH quicker that the way i have been doing sequences up til now.Cheers – oh great site BTW
