Back From Banff

I spent much of the last week exploring the Canadian Rockies around Banff and Jasper National Parks. Whilst the wildlife encounters I was hoping for didn’t really materialize, I did get some excellent landscape photography opportunities along the Icefields Parkway, and also in the Kananaskis Valley which is an area that I think gets photographically overlooked by a lot of photographers. You can read here about a few new products that I took with me for testing along the route.

I’ll be sharing some new landscape images very shortly in the Behind the Shot series, but for now, I thought I’d leave you with a few BTT (behind the tripod) shots that were posted on some of my social media channels during the trip. In particular, I’ve been really enjoying sharing updates with people via the new(ish) Instagram Stories feature, although they only last 24 hours before they are gone! Don’t miss them.
