I’ve already written a little preview of the Canon 100-400 f/4.5-5.6 L IS II, and also a post about why I think it’s the perfect companion to the EOS 7D Mark 2.
I’m excited to say that I’ve taken delivery of my own personal copy of this lens now, and I’ve begun to put it through its paces. I’m sharing a quick unboxing video today, but plan to post a lot more about this exciting new lens. The first version of the lens was a top seller for 16 years, and I see no reason why this upgrade won’t continue that. I’ve already used the lens for a variety of shooting in the first week and I’ll be sharing photos very soon. There’s one feature of this lens which I’m particularly excited about and I can’t wait to share it with you guys, you’re going to love it! Stay tuned!
