In my limited experience with it on those situations it is not that good. But then it is not designed to be used for photography of that type anyway. The way I use it is with the central focus point (always the most accurate) in one shot mode. I simply focus on the point in the scene where I wish the skier to be when i take the shot, then i recompose for the composition I would like. Wait for the skier to get to that point and CLICK, FLASH ! For one shot focussing I have always found it to be exceptionally accurate. Hi Arthur,
