With all the gear available now, it's hard to remember the basics. It's great to have the technical knowledge but I was still able to compose a shot before I knew what a prime lens was. My 50mm f1.8 is my go to when doing portraits. It's about the same as an 85 on a full frame and it's as sharp as can be. I just had a thought too. Have portrait posters on the site maybe?
