No I haven't heard of anything Charlie, have you? Can't think why there would be an issue.... in fact I used it on a 7d a few times myself without problem.

I have this lens and love it, just wondering if you've heard of any compatibility issues with the 7D?

Hey Steve,

Can't say i've ever wished that to be honest. I mostly end up shooting it at about 5.6 anyway. Wouldn't you have to be really really close to the subject with a fisheye to notice any DOF effects at 1.8? I dont know about you but I like to remain a bit of a distance from people wielding skis and ski poles ! haha

Is there a fish that goes that big? I'm not sure ive heard of one. I'm sure it would be crazy expensive if there was one.

Dan, I gotta ask you, have you been bummed that the aperture doesn't drop to 1.8? I shoot Skateboarding and I've always been a big believer in a relatively low Aperture. Does the 2.8 deliver?

Well that is interesting, when i wrote this post I saw that the price of the canon and sigma were getting close. I'm surprised to see that the canon is now cheaper!! As you say, this is not normally the case. From what I have heard, the 2 lenses are very similar in quality. I have only used the sigma and it is fantastic IMHO but i think the canon is on par. If i were you i'd get the canon and save the $90. I dont think it will disappoint.

I want to purchase a 15mm 2.8 ASAP for my Canon 20D and 50D. I was shocked to see on B&H that the Canon is cheaper than the Sigma. I currently have a Sigma 24-70mm 2.8, a Sigma 70-200 2.8 and finally a Canon 50mm 1.8. I'm a big fan of Sigma because the price is always way less, but what to do here. Should I get the Canon for $660 or the Sigma for $750??? So confused!!!
